What is the 1&1 Affiliate Program?

How much can I earn?

You can earn up to £300 per sale. For more details, check out our Commission Structure. We offer the same great commissions in our in-house affiliate program and Commission Junction programs. With over 30 commissionable products to choose from, you can sell one or all of them.

How do I get paid?

In our 1&1 internal program, affiliates get paid as a credit to the Debit Card, Credit card or PayPal account that was used when signing up with 1&1. If you are an affiliate in one of our Affiliate platforms such as Commission Junction, TradeDoubler or Affilinet, these offer many ways to receive payment including check, direct deposit, etc. (might vary from platform to platform).

When do I get paid?

Commissionable sales typically 'lock' at 60 days, after which you will receive the commission. If you are an in-house 1&1 affiliate, you can check to see your sales and if a commission has been paid by logging into your Control Panel. If you joined us in on e of the Major Affiliate Platforms such as Commission Junction, TradeDoubler or Affilinet, you need to log into your respective affiliate account to view the status of your sales and payments.

How long is the cookie duration?

Our affiliate cookie lasts for 60 days. The longer the cookie, the higher chance you will earn more commissions.

How do I find out when I made a sale?

If you signed up through our in-house affiliate program you need to log-on your 1&1 Control Panel.  Once logged in click on "Affiliate Program" then click on "Statistics". Then you will be able to see all of the sales you have made. Remember with our in-house program, we credit your credit/debit card or PayPal account that you have on file with us. Please note: It takes a minimum of 6 weeks after a new customer has ordered, and their account is activated for you to view the payment status in the statistics screen of your 1&1 Control Panel.

If you joined our affiliate program through an Affiliate Platform such as Commission Junction, TradeDoubler or Affilinet, you simply log on to your account in the respective platform and then click on "Run Reports". Then you will see options to run a "Transaction Report" where you can see when you made a sale and received a commission.

I'm already a 1&1 customer, do I need to join the affiliate program to become an affiliate?

If you are a 1&1 customer, then you are already a 1&1 affiliate and you do not need to sign up again. You already have access to your affiliate tracking link.  Simply log on to the 1&1 control panel or log on this site (at the top of the page where it says 1&1 customer id in the green box) with your 1&1 customer ID, then click on 'Show Affiliate Tools' to get access to all of the great tools to promote 1&1.

If I sign up for the affiliate program and log in to the 1&1 Control Panel. what options do I have since I am now a 1&1 customer?

You have many options. You can purchase an Instant Domain or sign up for one of our many great hosting plans. Once you are in your Control Panel you have the option of upgrading your "1&1 Affiliate Membership" package to a paid package and get access to additional features that come standard with our hosting plans such as Free Marketing money (Google Adwords credit, MSN credit, Yahoo credit) and much more. You may use your free marketing money to promote your 1&1 affiliate site so you can earn even higher commissions.

Can I get technical support?

Sure, as long as it pertains to the tools on 1and1affiliate.co.uk or if you have any technical questions on how to get started using our program and implementing any tools on your website. We would be happy to help our valued affiliates, please contact us for immediate assistance.

How many affiliates does 1&1 have?

Can I get commission for referrals made if they didn't come through my affiliate tracking link?

Unfortunately we cannot do this because the only way we can track that the referral was made by you, is through your 1&1 affiliate tracking link.

I am an international affiliate, can I join your program?

Absolutely!  You may join our In-House affiliate program or our major Affiliate programs such as Commission Junction, TradeDoubler or Affilinet.

What if I forget my account password?

You do not need your 1&1 affiliate password to log on the 1&1 Affiliate Portal but you do need it to log into the 1&1 Control Panel. If you forget your password simply go to the Control Panel login page and click on "Forget Password". How do I join?

We give you several options to join us. All you need is 5 minutes!

Method #1: 1&1 In-house Web Hosting Affiliate Program

If you are not a 1&1 customer, simply use the register link on this website to join our internal in-house web hosting affiliate program. You will need to provide us with details about yourself, and your payout preferences, but it only takes a few short minutes. If you are already a 1&1 customer, there is no extra registration, you are already eligible to participate! Just use your Customer ID or domain name to access the affiliate link building tools on this site. Every customer you refer through your unique affiliate tracking link is money in your pocket.

 Method #2: Commission Junction 


1&1 is a large '4-bar' advertiser in the Commission Junction (CJ) Network. CJ is a popular platform for international affiliates from the U.K., Germany, France and Spain who wish to promote 1and1.co.uk products, and it's free to join!

 

Method #3: TradeDoubler

How can I find out if I've referred customers from my affiliate link?

Affiliate statistics will tell you if customers you have referred have signed up with 1&1. You can find this information as follows:

  1. Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel at: https://admin.1and1.co.uk

  2. Click Statistics under Affiliate Program.

Please note: It takes minimum of 6 weeks after a new customer has ordered, and their account is activated for you to view the payment status in the statistics screen of your 1&1 Control Panel.

How to integrate affiliates links in WebsiteCreator.

You have 2 ways of doing it.

  1. Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel at: https://admin.1and1.co.uk. Click on the Account tab at the top of the page.

  2. Click Links & Banners under Affiliate Program.

  3. Copy the link.

  4. Open your WebsiteCreator's editor. Navigate to the page where you want to insert the link. Enter the text, for example "Great prices and reliable service at 1&1 Internet." Highlight it and click Edit and select Link.

  5. Choose External. Paste the link you copied from the Affiliate Links & Banners and click OK.

 

  1. Most of the images under Affiliate Links & Banners are animated. You cannot integrate in the WSC.

  2. You can use your own images. First upload the image of your choice by following the instructions in FAQ: How do I insert an image? After the image is inserted, right click on it and select Link.

  3. Choose External. Paste the link you copied from the Affiliate Links & Banners and click OK.

How to integrate affiliates links in DynamicSiteCreator.

You have 2 ways of doing it.

  1. Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel at: https://admin.1and1.co.uk. Click on the Account tab at the top of the page.

  2. Click Links & Banners under Affiliate Program

  3. Copy the link.

  4. Launch DynamicSiteCreator and click Content. (Check FAQ: How to open the editor. )

  5. Navigate to the page where you want to insert the link. Enter the text, for eg: "Great stuff at 1&1.....Sign up NOW!!!!". Highlight it and click the icon highlighted in green. 

  6. A window pops up. Select External. Choose http:// and enter the affiliate link address. (Do not include http:// in the link you type.) Click OK.

 

Now when anybody clicks the link, they are redirected to the 1&1 website.

 

  1. First download the banner image of your choice from the Control Panel. Then upload that image and insert it in your site by following FAQ: How to insert images.

  2. Once you have successfully inserted the image, just select it and click the link icon highlighted in green.

  3. A window pops up. Select External. Choose http:// and enter the affiliate link address. (Do not include http:// in the link you type.) Click OK.

 

Now when anybody clicks the image, they are redirected to the 1&1 website.

How to integrate affiliates links in WebsiteBuilder.

There are 2 options for adding an affiliate link to your WebsiteBuilder website:

  1. Add a Link (without a banner)

    1. Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel at: https://admin.1and1.co.uk.
      Click on the Account tab at the top of the page.

    2. Click Link & Banners under Affiliate Program.

    3. Copy the link.

    4. Open the Content window of WebsiteBuilder. Navigate to the page where you want to insert the link. Enter the text, for example: "Great prices, great uptime at 1&1 Internet" Highlight it and click the link icon.

    5. Go to Other Web Pages. Enter the affiliate link and click OK.

  2. Add a Clickable Banner or Image

    1. You can use your own images. First upload the image of your choice by following the instructions in FAQ: How to insert images.

    2. After the image is inserted, highlight the image and click the link icon. Go to Other Web pages and enter your affiliate link. Click OK.

    3. Inserting the Link with HTML (Available for WebsiteBuilder Plus). Launch the WebsiteBuilder Plus editor.

    4. Copy the following HTML to your clipboard. Please replace the xxxxxxx with your customer/account number:

These are just examples: feel free to create your own. If you’d like us to review your signature or to make suggestions, please send us an e-mail at affiliate@1and1.co.uk Your signature file should consist of just a few lines of text. 3-6 lines is usually sufficient. Try to keep the line length to 60 characters or less including spaces. Some e-mail programs can wrap text over 60 characters making the signature not as appealing to viewers. Always left justify your signature file. Most people use Microsoft Outlook, but most e-mail programs have a similar signature feature. Under the Tools menu, choose Options then Mail Format. At the bottom of the Mail Format menu, click the Signature button. When you click on the button, you are provided a text box to create your signature, then click on the New button, and you will be guided to creating your signature file. You can also import HTML into your signature file.
